The results for The 2009 European Championships are now available.
Once again a huge thank you to Mike Butterfield (Race Officer) for all his efforts during the bank holiday weekend.

On behalf of the organising team may I offer a warm welcome to all competitors taking part in the 2009 Northern and European Championships

The events will be run under the joint burgees of the Royal Mersey Yacht Club and Holyhead Sailing Club and we are delighted to have secured the services of Mike Butterfield as Principal Race Officer.

A number of social events have been organised, including the Northern Championship Dinner to be held at Holyhead Sailing Club on May 16th and the European Championships Dinner at the Trearddur Bay Hotel on Sunday 23rd May.

We have are indebted to Stena Line for kindly providing the craning facilities for launching and recovering the boats.

It is our intention to provide two enjoyable weekends on and off the water for all of the participating crews and non sailing visitors.

We are expecting boats from Cowes, Ireland, Italy and Holland in addition to strong representation from the Mersey fleet to create two truly International events.

Our aim is to have fun with close racing on the water and good company back on shore.
